BTS star under fire over McDonald’s picture

ALBAWABA - South Korean BTS star has landed in hot water after posting a picture of a McDonald's potato box on his official Instagram account.

Kim TaeHyung posted a photo on Instagram triggering wide anger among his pro-Palestinian fans, especially after a picture of him and his band was found under the rubble of one of the houses in Gaza.

Amid the ongoing war in Gaza and the airstrikes by the Israeli army, a picture of the South Korean band BTS was found amid ruins under one of the homes in the Gaza Strip.

It is worth mentioning that, Kim TaeHyung has over 65.7 million followers on Instagram and the post showing a photo of a McDonald's potato bag gained over 2.6 million likes and wide engagement. 

A wave of huge anger by fans of the South Korean singer and songwriter, who also called to boycott the South Korean star and band after his ignorance of the war in Gaza after McDonald's picture considering that McDonald's has been boycotted by pro-Palestinian activists over the aggressive war since Oct. 7.

Reportedly, Kim TaeHyung deleted the post after he gained wide criticism over the pictures that included McDonald's potatoes.

Not only McDonald's, Starbucks, HP, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Papa John's, Coca-Cola as well as Pepsico and many other companies are facing a strict boycott campaign over their direct or indirect support of Israel.
