ALBAWABA - Horror fans are in for a treat this month, with the release of Silent Hill F by Konami and the recent reveal trailer of Kojima and Jordan Peele's upcoming game, 'OD'. Now, Bloober Team took the internet by storm after confirming that a remake of Silent Hill 1 has entered production.
According to Bloober Team's management, the gaming studio has two teams under its belt, one is working solely on the Silent Hill 1 Remake, while the other is working on undisclosed projects. Moreover, the studio also revealed that there are five more projects in the works in collaboration with other second-party studios.
Bloober Team confirms Silent Hill 1 Remake
The same studio recently launched a survival horror game called 'Cronos: The New Dawn,' which was received well by many fans of the genre, especially Dead Space enthusiasts, due to the similarities between the two titles. This game solidified the studio's reputation, outlining that Bloober Team is more than capable of creating games, aside from remakes of award-winning titles such as its version of Silent Hill 2.
Silent Hill 1 is still considered one of the best horror games of all time since its release in 1999, and despite its outdated graphics and gameplay mechanics, it's still highly regarded by fans of the franchise.
In reference to the remake of Silent Hill 2, we believe that Bloober Team will do the upcoming game justice.
