We finally got to feast our eyes on Lebanese singer Myriam Fares's new music video "Nifsi Aqulhalak" (I Wish I Could Say It To You), from her latest mega successful album "Aman."

Product placement in music videos has been an increasing trend of late, as many singers endorse certain brands by including clips of a certain product in their videos. Those kinda clips don't usually last for more than a few seconds.

Good hair day!

Following in this trend, Myms broke the record in her newest release for the longest segment of product placement in any other music video. The video was pretty much an extended advertisement for the popular hair brand "Wella," and it consisted almost exclusively of shots of Myriam's long, thick hair flowing through the air as her song played in the background.

Al Jaras magazine argued that, although Myriam has the reputation of an intelligent artist, she failed with this most recent unimaginative video as she needed a strong and meaningful production to effectively promote her new album.

Prior to "Nifsi Aqulhalak," Myriam hadn't released a music video for some time aside from one for her wedding song "Duqqo El Tubool" (Beat the Drums), a video which consisted of scenes from her real-life big day.

Though we applaud Myriam for her smart choice in hair products, her fans will no doubt be anxious to see a more artistic and creative video from her new album out soon!
