Lebanese belly dancer Basima has traveled to Nigeria to perform at a show for the Lebanese community in Abuja.
According to the London daily Elaph, Basima is in the process of filming a video clip for her new song composed by Muhammad Abed Al Mine’m and distributed by Basem Munir. Basima’s last video clip for the song “Ana Basima” (I Am Basima) was very successful.
The video clip was controversial because in the clip Basima plays the role of a young woman who is forced by her family to marry to a rich Khaliji man (from the Gulf countries), but she runs away.
Basima will start working on the second video clip from her album when she returns from her trip.
