Egyptian former squash celebrity Ahmad Barada has announced that he will begin preparations for an upcoming new film "Ana Lak Ala Toul" (I will Always Be Yours) after he completes work in his current film "Hub Al Banat" (Girls Romance). The new film will belong to the romance genre and Barada is to perform several songs throughout the movie, reported the UAE based daily, Al Bayan.

In "Hub Al Banat" Ahmad costars alongside Laila Ilwi, Ashraf Abdul Baqi, Hanan Turk, and Khaled Abu Al Naja. The film is directed by Khaled Al Hajar, and is due to be out in cinema houses this summer.

Being a sport's celebrity for more than 8 years, Brada could not stand being away from the scenes after his retirement and decided to enter the music and acting world. Ahmad is currently preparing for the release of his first album "Lailet Hayat" (A Night Out of Life), which he will debut with in the very near future.

Ahmad recorded the album, which is composed of nine songs, in France. The songs are written by a number of poets like Sharif Taj, Hani Al Sagheer, Baha Al Din Mohammad, and Ahmad Ali Mousa; and were composed by Algerian composers. The new release also features a duet sung with a French singer.

Barada will film the main song of the album "Lailet Hayat" in the form of a music video to be launched with his album. Ahmad said that he is hopeful and confident that his new release will prove to be a big success. He added that his new album is different from the typical albums out in the market, in terms of songs, words, compositions, and performance.

Brada had stayed in France for almost two years after his retirement from squash, and there started working on his debut album. Late last year, Barada, performed a concert with Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi in Qatar, after a two-year absence from the limelight following his retirement.

Ahmed Barada retired on August 2001 due to inability to recover from back injury after being stabbed twice in the back by a mystery assailant, and sought medical treatment in Germany and France. Albawaba.com
