The film story is based on a real life story derived from the archives of the Anti Drug Trafficking Department.
Ahmad Al Sabaawi, the film producer, eventually decided to name the film “Ashghal Shakkah”. It is a social police film about drug trafficking mafia.
The film actors include Athar Al Hakim, Majed Al Masri, Hamdi Al Wair, Intisar and Sami Al Adel. General Mohammad Abbas Mansour has written the film story which is about a drug trafficking ring headed by a rich Arab who works as an ambassador. The Anti Drug Trafficking Department planned to arrest him by delegating this task to the most competent officer called “AL Nawras” and his colleague Captain Rashed. The officers were ordered to follow the ring’s members in order to capture them red handed. Officer Nawras recruited the famous actress Salma and dancer Yasmin who have relations with the Arab rich man and his son Tareq. The dancer helped by her love relationship with the ambassador’s son, Tareq, placed many microphones inside their house which enabled the Drug Trafficking Department to monitor all the communications and movements of the ring’s chief and identify the names of all his partners. The department succeeded eventually in arresting all the members of the ring who had threatened Egypt’s security for a long time.
