Syrian singer Asalah Nasri has recently completed the shooting of her upcoming music video for the hit single "Misheet Sineen" (I Walked for Years) in Beirut. The singer said she chose Lebanon to shoot the clip for its beautiful scenery and romantic atmosphere.
According to the London based Elaph, prominent director Said Al Marouq directed the clip for Asalah with the assistance of known make-up artist Bassam Fatooh. The new album for Asalah is due to be released in the very near future along with the new music video. Asalah's new album features a collection of songs written and composed by prominent individuals in the music industry.
Fans of Nasri have gone an extra unusual step to show their love to their favorite singer and have created a personalized magazine solely for Asalah. The magazine consists of different interviews made with Asalah along with her latest news and updates. The magazine also includes exclusive articles and pictures of Asalah that talk about her latest involvements in the entertainment world.
Egyptian folk singer Shabaan Abdul Rahim was very disappointed with Asalah when she refused to sing the duet "Limatha Ya Qalbi El Athab" (Why the Torture My Love) with him, which is one of the songs from his latest album "Al Harb Ala Al Iraq" (War on Iraq). Shabaan revealed that he was planning to film the song in the form of a music video and had made a number of calls to Asalah and was shocked when she turned him down saying she is too busy at the moment with more important work.
In March, Nasri revealed that she worked with Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker on a private duet that deals with them specifically. Fadel confirmed the plans for a duet but added that no specifications have been chosen so far.
Fadel stressed his admiration with Asalah's voice on numerous occasions. And on her part Asalah expressed her high regard for Fadel's voice and how she would greatly appreciate singing a duet with him. Asalah added that she finds Fadel's voice to be one of the best voices in the Arab world and felt it would be an unforgettable experience to sing with him. –Albawaba.com
