Prominent Syrian celebrity Asala Nasri has had her Syrian passport revoked Wednesday, and been referred to the prosecutor’s office in Lebanon, a judicial source told The Daily Star.
The celebrity was allegedly stopped after being flagged by the international police agency (INTERPOL).
Nasri is renowned for being a vocal critic of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime.
The singer is visiting Lebanon, where she is set to perform in an upcoming event.
