If Haifa Wehbe thinks the celeb world has forgotten about her dress malfunction incident on Star Academy last year, she better think again!
While men are probably still replaying that YouTube video of her dancing around in a black sheer dress - which "broke the Arab Internet" and left many gasping when her almost-visible butt made an appearance on Live TV - Yemeni singer and host Arwa jumped at the chance to make fun of the Lebanese bombshell on her new TV show "Khalleeha Alaina" (Leave It to Us).
"Leave It to Us" is pretty similar to the format of Lebanese TV host Adel Karam's satirical celeb talk show "Hayda Haki" (This is Just Talk).
In a "comedic" segment on her show, Arwa took to the stage to impersonate Haifa's performance on Star Academy. But before she got to that, Arwa made fun of Haifa's dress, pointing out that unlike CBC, which aired the much-criticized episode, she will censor the bare parts of the singer's body.
And she did! With Haifa's picture in the dress on a big screen behind her, she covered her debated bits with a black line!
Then, out of nowhere, two of her assistants came out carrying a black rectangular placard and placed it between her stomach and thighs, as a way of sarcastically implying that she's censored too!
The final part of her joke was to re-enact Haifa's same song, "Oppa Oppa," which she, of course, satirically sang in Haifa's voice and using the same mannerisms.
While the audience found her hilarious, many social media users found Arwa "annoying and not at all funny."
What does Haifa have to say about this?
