The Yemeni artist Arwa said that she did not marry the Emirati artist Hussein Al Jassmi, despite circulating rumors that the two have tied the knot.
According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, Arwa denied the rumors during a recent appearance on the entertainment show “Hala O Ghala” (Hello Dear), and said that when she does decide to settle down with someone she will announce the news publically.
Arwa said that she never personally judges her guests on her entertainment television show “Akher Man Ya’lam” (The Last to Know). She revealed that she was nervous to host the two famous Lebanese artists Nancy Ajram and Elissa because of their great fame.
“I thought that both artists will be snobbish, but they were very down to earth during their interviews,” said Arwa.
Arwa denied that she had disputes with several guests on her show, like the Syrian artist Asala Nasri, Egyptian actresses Hanan Turk and Somayah Al Khashab, and the Kuwaiti host Halima Poland. Arwa said that she tends to ask her guests about issues that are already well publicized.
Arwa also said that she was over whelmed to receive the “Golden Award” at the Khalij Radio and Television Festival for her show “Akher Man Ya’lam.”
As for her music, Arwa said that she is working on solo singles sung in the “Khaliji” and Egyptian dialects. She would like to perform a duet with the Yemeni artist Abu Baker Salem but he was unresponsive, said Arwa.
