It's one thing to criticize where one comes from, but totally another to insult their entire race.
Unfortunately for Syrian actress Nisreen Tafesh, it was the latter.
The popular starlet lashed out at social media users and referred to them as "filthy Arabs" after they made fun of her for using a peg to tighten one of her dresses.
The said dress was a wedding gown she had worn for a magazine photo shoot. In the photo, a peg was used to make the dress fit her better.
Despite us completely disagreeing with the way Nisreen approached the matter, the Instagram page that posted the photo used a ridiculous caption to go along with it.
"Leaked photo which shows how artist Nisreen Tafesh resorts to using pegs to make her dress tighter in order to make her assets more prominent," the caption read.

Nisreen lashed out at the page and her critics by saying:
"First of all you idiots, this photo was taken with my permission from my Snapchat and it's from a dress rehearsal for this wedding gown.
"As for the peg used in the picture, it can be found in all wedding dress shops to adjust the size of a dress, which is what we were doing on Snapchat.
"Seriously, Arabs are filth," she said.
Yes, Nisreen makes total sense, and those who misunderstood the use of that peg should have Googled it before acting ignorant.
On the other hand, it's unacceptable for someone in the public eye (or other) to ridicule an entire race the way Nisreen did.

Will the actress realize that she was mistaken and release a public apology?
