But Egyptian actress Liqaa Sweidan is facing a different kind of "death" after surviving many years harm-free in the mad world of showbiz.
Liqaa has one man messing with her head and threatening her safety.
The concerned mother received a series of anonymous phone calls from a person threatening to kill her and kidnap her daughter, reported Al Quds Al Arabi.
It is still unknown the reason behind the threats, but a close source to the starlet said that the caller told Liqaa, "If you don't change your mind the price will be either your life or having your daughter kidnapped."
It remains mysterious what Liqaa is supposed to be changing her mind about.
The actress has no enemies and doesn't suspect anyone, according to the source.
As a way of protecting herself and her daughter, Liqaa has been keeping her public appearances to a minimum and only leaving her house when necessary.
