The Kuwaiti Ministry of Communication has denied any news of banning the famous Egyptian singer Angham from entering Kuwait or performing in it for admitting that she cried her eyes out when Sadam Hussein was hanged, reported the Al Khaleej daily.

The Ministry made sure that Angham’s personal views even if it collides with the views of Kuwaitis have no effect since they don’t hurt the feelings of the Kuwaiti people. The Ministry also emphasized that Kuwait is a democratic country and respects personal the views of others.

However; the news of the Islamic sector of the Kuwaiti Parliament banning her from entering Kuwait for the rumor that surrounded Angham of her last video clip being filmed in (Al Silhdar) mosque in Cairo was not true.

The Minister made clear that they heard of the news that Angham was banned from performing in Kuwait in the news like everyone else and were surprised to hear it.

Angham is married to a Kuwaiti and her son is a Kuwaiti citizen, which means whenever she plans to settle in Kuwait she could become a citizen too.
