Egyptian singer Angham is presently caring for her newborn baby "Abdul Rahman" with his father Fahed, although Angham has already begun preparing for her return to the scenes.

The singer stayed away from the spotlight during her pregnancy. Angham stated that she will mark he end of her maternity leave by filming a new music video for the song "Bahib Nafsi" (I Love Myself) in Beirut with director Hadi Al Bajouri.

According to the London based Elaph, Angham plans on filming another clip in Cairo for the song "Astana Aih" (Wait for What) with director Jamil Al Maghazi.

The singer is also scheduled to make a number of public appearances and television interviews. The singer has yet to schedule any live performances, and will most likely postpone holding concerts until the summer season.

Angham’s second attempt to star in a film was stymied by her pregnancy.

Angham was forced to turn down an offer for the leading role in the upcoming film "Al Ishiq Wal Hawa" (About Love).

Angham had begun preparing for her role in the film along with Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Sakka and Muna Zaki, but her pregnancy made it impossible for her to continue, coupled with the refusal of the production company to postpone filming until she gave birth.

The first film from which Angham suddenly withdrew was "Sahar Al Laiali" (Up through the Nights), and her role was then given to Muna Zaki. Muna received numerous awards for her role, and the film witnessed tremendous success.
