What are the reasons behind the Egyptian super star Amr Diab's plan to leave Cairo and move to Beirut, Lebanon where has bought a house worth one million US dollars? according to ArabTop.net.

Everybody was surprised when the famous Egyptian super star Amr Diab insisted on finishing as soon possible the recording of the songs of his new album inspite of the fact that his latest album "Tamali Maak" have not been on the market for so long and is still topping most Arabic charts.

But everybody's amazement suddenly vanished when they came to know Amr plan to move to Lebanon where has bought a house in Beirut for around one million US dollars.

The reason behind Amr’s move is still not clear. Amr said to ArabTop.net that his wife, who was raised and brought up in Lebanon, persuaded him to move there.

Other critics view Amr's move as a very quick and angry reaction following the juridical dispute he had with some Egyptian journalists which have led the imprisonment of 3 of them. Others view Amr's move as a running away in view of the fact that no star could ever survive without media and that most Egyptian journalists would stand as one hand against him. They believe Amr decided to move his place of residence to be away for the time being. This in addition to many other rumors that started spreading around him lately, like singing in Israel … being behind the death rumors of singer Mohamed Fouad etc.

Others view Amr's plan to move to Lebanon as a long lasting issue that goes back 6 years when Amr spoke about establishing a recording studio in Beirut and to oversee other projects he had invested in there. Tis is not a viable explanation since Amr can fulfill all these projects without moving out of Egypt.

But could Amr survive for a long time away from his homeland Egypt? It is very well known that Amr is always on the move and travelling around the world most of the year and his presence in Cairo is usually limited to the time he spent recording songs and albums – Albawaba.com
