Egyptian singer Amr Diab has announced that he will head off to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the first week of the holy month of Ramadan to perform the religious pilgrimage Umra. The singer revealed that he will dedicate this pilgrimage to his deceased father, but will also perform a second Umra by the end of Ramadan for himself.
Recently, during his visit to Lebanon, Amr gave some clarification about his dispute with his producer Muhsen Jaber and announced that their problems ended. Amr also refused to confirm that this make over with Muhsen meant that he has any problems with his current production company Rotana.
The surprise was Amr's opinion in the new wave of songs, saying that most new singers concentrate on seduction and seeks entertainment and not true singing. He added that when he sees such video clips he immediately turns off his television set.
Diab has denied recent circulating rumors that a dispute has occurred between him and prominent Egyptian actress Faten Hamama, and that he turned down a dinner invitation from her. The singer stressed that he never received an invitation from Faten and that if he had, he would not turn it down and would have been the first guest to arrive. –Albawaba.com
