Egyptian megastar, Amr Diab, is not often in the position of being upstaged but when he appeared in Dubai this week he had to face down the global celebrity of David Beckham.
It was an unequal fight but not one that Amr took lying down. His new style of long hair and sparkly headband looked very familiar, sat next to the man who invented the "metrosexual" look.
The two chatted amiably but it was clear who the style winner was here. Amr took a slating from fans on his Twitter and Facebook pages who thought the 'girly' look wasn't suitable for an Arab star.
