Is Egyptian superstar Amr Diab feeling a bit under the weather? Rumor has it that the 52-year-old heartthrob was recently rushed to hospital while working in Dubai.
But according to Laha Magazine, in a press release, Diab’s press office firmly denied the news of a health-scare, stating that the star was absolutely shocked by the false rumor.
The release also stated: “As it is our job to clarify any matters concerning the star, we strongly deny the rumors and assure everyone that the superstar's health is as best as can be. All what was said remains untrue.”
Diab was in Dubai for his rescheduled DIFF concert. According to organisers, the superstar rescheduled his show to January 17 at Shaikh Rashid Hall at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Lucid Events told Gulf News' tabloid! that Diab’s Diff cancellation was “out of his control”, and said that there were problems with having the concert at Burj Park, but that it was not Diab himself who decided to axe the performance.
Hmm, maybe it really was a health-scare?
