Egyptian actress Amira Al Aydi revealed that she will not be taking part in any television drama during the coming holy month of Ramadan. She added that the rumor of first being included in a number of dramas and then deciding to pull out is not true.

Amira said she will be filming the scenes for a new television drama written by Tamer Abd Al Miniem after the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr, which coincides after Ramadan. In addition, she shared that she’ll be working on  to working on a new film, but refused to reveal any details.

Amira noted that she was very happy with the victory of the newly elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and is very confident he will make a big difference and lead Egypt to prosperity and democracy.
