Celebrities are lucky enough to pick and choose pieces from the world's top designers. And while some leave nothing to the imagination with their OTT outfits, others like to remain conservative and keep some of their body parts undercover!
Egyptian singer Amal Maher happens to be the latter, unlike scantily clad Lebanese singers Haifa Wehbe and Maya Diab, to name a few!
Priding herself on showing less skin then other singers, Amal said, “I am not like one of those singers. I dress decently just like the rest of the Arab society,” reported Levant.tv.
Clearly the conservative starlet likes to stay in touch with her roots and culture, while feeling the need to relate to the women in her society.
“I dress the way girls of my generation do. I dress up on special occasions. I am very shy,” the 30-year-old added added.
In a statement to “Youm7,″ Amal said, “I belong to all my audience with no discrimination.”
Amal is also aware of the fact that she's a role model to many young women, who are heavily influenced by celebrities as their idols and by the media.
“Those younger than me have the right to emulate me since I am supposed to be their mirror,” the Egyptian singer noted.
Perhaps being a mother to a young boy also drives Amal to stick to her more traditional side.
