Esteemed Algerian songstress Amal Boushousha is teaming up with Syrian celeb Abid Fahed to star in a television drama based on the latest novel by Ahlam Mistghanmi "Al Aswad Yalik Bik" (Black Suits You).
According to Sayidaty.net, the novel revolves around a heated love affair between a wealthy Lebanese millionaire, played by Abid, and an Algerian famous singer, to be played by Amal.
Abid’s character started his journey to riches in Brazil and gained it all: money, a wife, and two daughters, but after seeing the 27-year-old songstress perform on television, he becomes infatuated with her and determines that she will be his. Educating himself in music, he formulates a plant win her.
This is the second time Amal will act out a character developed by an Ahlam novel. She also took the role of leading lady in the drama "Thakirat Al Jasad" (Memory of the Body).
