Despite the unstable security conditions in Syria, the country's TV stars are risking their lives to keep filming going with producers announcing new projects every day. It is a measure of the entertainment industry's resilience that throughout the civil war, shows are still being produced.
One of Syria's brightest stars, Amal Arafa, is among the crowd of actors getting behind the cameras. Director of new drama 'Al Wilada min al Khasira' (Birth from Loss), Rasha Sharbatji, confirmed that the actress is on board despite the pair having a rocky relationship in the past. It will be the third part of the popular drama series and writer of the first two parts, Samer Radwan, has already begun working on the script.
Starring alongside Amal will be Samar Sami, who was in the first part of the drama, Basem Yakhour who starred in the second part and Amal’s husband, Abdel Minem Amairi.
