Pantene have chosen Yemeni singer Balqees as their new face and she's already doing them proud.
In her first commercial with the hair care brand, Balqees enthused that her "hair chose Pantene."
But the 27-year-old brunette beauty's luscious locks didn't just earn her the title of Pantene Ambassador; she's also partnered with them to campaign for women's rights in the Middle East.
Delivering a social message together under the slogan "Today's problems need today's solutions," Pantene will sponsor an entire tour for the singer in 2016 that will be dedicated to serving women's social issues in the Arab world.
Balqees has long been an advocate for women's rights. She enthusiastically told ET Bel Arabi that Pantene must have heard about her efforts and decided to join forces with her.
"I've always wanted an organization to adopt my and my ideas and bring them to life," she admitted.
This partnership is such a huge achievement for Balqees, who has only been in the entertainment industry for four years.
She is now in the same (TV) league as international Hollywood stars Eva Mendes, Selena Gomez, Naomi Watts and Queen Latifa, who have all been the faces of Pantene in the past.
