Ali Jaber does the sweetest thing for grieving 'Arabs Got Talent' co-star Najwa Karam

If you're in showbiz, your "TV family" means as much to you as your real one.

That's why MBC Group Director, Ali Jaber, has postponed the air date of Arabs Got Talent from this weekend until the next one, as a way of standing by his grieving co-star Najwa Karam.

The Lebanese singer lost her brother, Nicola, on Tuesday morning, after he suffered a sudden heart attack. 

In a tweet on Tuesday, Ali said: "The airing of the first episode of Arabs Got Talent has been postponed until next week, out of respect my dear Najwa Karam and her family's feelings. May her brother rest in peace."

Najwa sits on the judging panel of AGT alongside Jaber, Egyptian comedian actor Ahmed Helmy and Saudi Arabian comedian Nasser al Qasabi. 

AGT will reutrn to the screen in its fifth season on Saturday, 11 March 2017.
