The international film festival of Alexandria has again rejected the ongoing Israeli attempts to normalize relations with Egypt through participating in the festival with the Israeli film “Area K” directed by the Israeli Ramon Bloomberg.

The artistic critic and festival head, Mohammed Saleh, has confirmed his rejection of the Israeli attempts to normalize cultural relationships with Egypt. This rejection has come as a response to a fax sent by the Israeli director to the festival management requesting the acceptance of his film “Area K” at the festival.

The film is about the conflict between the Palestinian and Israeli fishermen in Gaza Strip which ends with the Israeli victory over the Palestinians.
