The filming for the series ‘Al-Kharaz Al-Molawan’ (The Colored Beads), will begin in the coming few days, as the screenwriter has submitted the script covering the first month, explained Ahmed Khader, Director.
Rehearsals are already taking place for actress Athar Al-Hakim, playing a leading role as ‘Nisreen Khoury’, a brave Palestinian girl set in 1948 Palestine. Also depicting Egypt’s impact on regional politics during that time.
The director is also scouting actors to play the political figure mentioned in the story, such as Jamal Abdel Naser and Sadat. A surprise to most of us, it has been mentioned in the contract that these roles should be played by newly graduated actors, with no prior experience or past appearances.
