Al Hindi promises new surprises

  According to the London daily Elaph, Mr. Salem Al Hindi the president of the music company ‘Rotana’ made clear that his company has been leading ahead during the last year and described it as the giant of the Arab art world. The company which is owned by the Saudi prince Al Walid Bin Talal has been the number one company in producing music and bringing out outstanding artists.

 During his first interview for the new year which was by the radio station ‘Rotana Delta’, Al Hindi said that the New Year will present new amd huge surprises where they’ll be new contracts signed by a number of well-known artists. The first one on the list of ‘Rotana’s’ new members will be Wardah Al Jazairyah. Al Hindi revealed that negotiations with the great artist are almost final and it will be a happy ending.

 At the beginning of his interview, Al Hindi wished everyone a happy New Year and said his heart was with the people of Gaza and all Palestinians. He said that staying in the Lebanese capital Beirut gave him the chance to be in contact with different artists especially during the New Year’s celebrations which were held by Rotana artists.

 Al Hindi also revealed that the negotiations with the great Lebanese artist Fairouze to join the Rotana family are finally seeing the light and arrangements for a meeting with her lawyers has been made to finalize talks. Al Hindi stated that he dreams of the day when Fairouze stands on the top of the Rotana artist pyramid.

 As for the new department ‘Rotana Occasions’ which has been included to the art and music production department , Al Hindi said that such a department is very important, because this would make it possible to follow and schedule new concerts  and various performances for Rotana’s members.

 Al Hindi talked about various Rotana artist and went on describing some of the members like Lebanese artist Faris Karam and the great Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi, whom is describes as “Sweet” with the way she handles her job and relations. Lebanese artist Najwa Karam made a phone call to the program and asked once more about including the Lebanese musician Melhim Barakat to the Rotana family. Al Hindi revealed that he will do his best and will try to omit any difficulties that will stand in the way from including Barakat.
