According to the London daily Elaph, after numerous unsuccessful attempts to reconcile between the two Lebanese artists Fadel Shaker and Ragheb Alameh; the politician Baha Al Hariri was able to bring the two artists to talk to one another.
Fadel Shaker sent a memo pulling back everything bad that he said about his Lebanese colleague Ragheb Alameh. On the other hand, Shaker did not comment about how the reconciliation happened and he promised to have a detailed press conference describing what happened.
Fadel Shaker’s office had released a memo apologizing on his behalf for what he had said to Ragheb Alameh. The memo said that after the intervention of many close friends to bring both parties to talk to each other finally both artists are talking and trying to put what happened behind them.
The reconciliation comes during the month of Ramadan because it is the month of good and forgiveness; therefore, Fadel shaker pulls back everything bad that he had said about Ragheb Alameh. He goes on saying that the whole incident was a misunderstanding and that he made inappropriate comments about Alameh because he was upset. Fadel goes on saying that both he and Alameh want to turn over the page and to start all over.
He goes on saying that he has a lot of respect for the musical journey of Ragheb Alameh and his brother Khader Alameh. He hopes that the holy month of Ramadan will be a month of purification and will bring hope and forgiveness.
