Prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki has narrated his life's journey, which lasted for almost ten hours, to one of the Arab satellite television channels. The narration came in the form of a short film telling his life's story from his birth to his journey in the acting world and up until today.
According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Gomhourya, the filming was done between the hospital, which Ahmad is currently at receiving treatment for lung cancer, and the hotel he is residing at.
Zaki has returned to Egypt from France after a six-day therapy session, which ended with his French doctors’ decision to halt all medication for the upcoming two months. Ahmad’s doctors revealed that the actor returned with high spirits and hopes due to the fact that his health condition is gradually improving.
Ahmad’s business manager revealed that soon as the actor relaxes for a few days he will begin to look over several film scripts in an attempt to return to his acting career. It has been revealed that Ahmad will begin shooting the first scenes of his upcoming film “Al Andaleeb”, which tells the story of the late Egyptian legendary singer Abdul Halim Hafez.
The French doctor, who supervised the health condition of Ahmad in France, announced that he will halt all medication for two months due to the gradual progress in the actor’s condition. The doctor revealed that test results show that the chemotherapy sessions have improved the actor’s health enormously and at this point he may stop all forms of medications.
The French doctor added that he will reexamine the actor after the two-month period to decide on the next therapy stage and stated that the actor must undergo tests every two months from now on in Paris to ensure that he is rid of all cancerous tumors. –Albawaba.com
