Algerian singer and actress Amal Bouchoucha may have taken some time off to relax after completing filming scenes for her TV series “Taht Al Ard” (Underground), but she's not back up on her feet and in full swing as she prepares to film scenes for her next project: an Abu Dhabi TV show alongside Egyptian artist Amr Youssef.

The 13-episode-long show is titled “Bashabbih Aleek” (You Remind Me of...) and it's currently being filmed in Beirut, before heading off to its next filming locations, Cairo and Dubai.

The show will execute a fresh idea that we haven't seen on our screens before, and will feature celebs from all over the Arab world!

Other projects taking Amal's fancy, according to Elaph news, are two potential films which she's currently reading scripts for. No final decision as to which one she'll pick has yet been made.

And as if that wasn't enough, some news reports have it that the brilliant world-famous Algerian novelist Ahlam Mosteghanemi has nominated Amal to star alongside Syrian actor Abed Fahed in the new drama series - based on her novel - “Al Aswad Yaleeqo Bik” (Black Suits you).

Ahlam said that Amal was her first choice as an actress because she's a young Algerian girl, just like her character in the novel. She added that Amal has the charisma and talent that are just perfect for this role.

Abed will play the role of a rich Lebanese man who tries to use his wealth, instead of love, in winning over an Algerian girl (Amal).
