A UAE court has released the verdict in the lawsuit by UAE singer Ahlam against the Arabic magazine Zahret Al Khaleeg stating that the latter is innocent of all accusations made by the singer. The case goes back a year and a half when the singer filed a lawsuit against the magazine for publishing lies about her in one of their articles regarding her marriage.
The magazine had written about an incident that occurred to Ahlam in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Bahrain when a court looked into a lawsuit filed by a local boutique owner against the singer demanding that she be forbidden from leaving the country. The complaint was filed over the fact that the owner of the store claims that the singer is in debt to him for an amount of over 8 thousand Dinars.
On a different note, Ahlam has finally returned to pursuing her singing career after taking time off due to her pregnancy and taking care of her newborn baby boy “Fahad”. Since her return, Ahlam has held several concerts around the Arab world and is scheduled to hold more in London and Paris.
Now after Ahlam gave birth to her first child, Fahed, she tries to conceal him from any paparazzi and tries to imitate Michel Jackson style when he puts masks on his children’s faces so no one could identify them.
The reason as we think is different for Ahlam and possibly she is not showing her child because she is afraid of envy. Ahlam has revealed that she refuses to have any photographs of her newborn baby boy to be taken by the press. The refusal came after a number of close friends of Ahlam, who are journalists, expressed their desire to have photographs taken of her son and posting them in different magazines and newspapers.
Ahlam stressed that she will make it a point to keep her son away from the spotlight and the chaos of the entertainment world, adding that she wants to provide him with a normal life away from fame and the nuisance of the entertainment world. Ahlam revealed that she does not mind to have her picture taken or to undergo interviews, because she is a singer, but when it comes to her son she noted that he will not live the same way and will grow up like all other children.
