Prominent UAE singer Ahlam has denied circulating rumors published by a Kuwaiti newspaper that she snubbed the Kuwaiti media during a recent visit.
Ahlam said she did not even visit Kuwait last month, let alone perform at a wedding ceremony.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Ahlam had a personal misunderstanding with the journalist who published the article.
Ahlam announced that she refuses to make amends with Syrian singer Asalah, who she claims still has ill intentions.
The conflict between the two singers began when Ahlam ignored Asalah’s phone calls. Ahlam claims that Asalah never congratulated her when she was married and gave birth to her first child.
On a different note, the latest album by Ahlam, “Al Thikul San’aa” has witnessed tremendous success since its release. It has ranked as one of the highest selling albums produced by ‘Rotana,’ marking the first cooperation between the singer and the company.
The album features 14 songs written by a number of prominent composers like Mansour Al Shadi, Badi Mas’oud, and Abdullah Al Jasem.
