ALBAWABA - Social media websites were buzzing with comments after a recent photo of Egyptian actor Adel Emam, showing him in his first public appearance in nearly two years.
Local media said that Adel Emam was seen in a picture while attending his grandson Adel Junior's wedding.
The "Leader" made another public appearance at the wedding of his grandson, Adel Emam Junior, son of director and producer Rami Emam, to his bride, Farida Ashraf, in a family celebration held Friday evening in Cairo.
It's worth noting that Adel Emam's last public appearance was in 2023, when his former business manager posted photos from his 83rd birthday celebration, which was held at his home in the presence of family members and a number of close friends.

Rami Emam shared the photo on his official Instagram account, gathering family members around the great artist, as the great Egyptian star appeared sitting surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Emam commented on the photo with a Quranic verse: "And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy. Praise be to God. Adel and Farida."
