A warm ovation greeted Afra Saraçoğlu following her remarks yesterday, which were made in front of a group of Turkish celebrities as part of GQ Türkiye magazine's honoring her.
Specifically, Afra celebrated her 27th birthday on December 2, the same day she was born, and received the "Outstanding Achievement of the Year" award.
On behalf of all women, Afra, who frequently receives criticism from social media users due to her relationship with Mert Ramazan Demir, her co-star in the Kingfisher series, or her acting that does not always satisfy everyone, accepted the award. She also remembered to express her gratitude to her mother, whose presence at the event moved her to tears.

"It was my birthday," Afra said after taking the stage to accept her prize, adding that it was "for all women who work and produce, regardless of what they go through."
The audience enthusiastically applauded her speech as she said, "She also wanted to thank some of the women in her life while receiving her award." She expressed gratitude to her mother and older sister, who were present during the celebration.
Without holding back her tears, she spoke to her mother, "I'm glad you came and that you're here. You gave me strength, and I adore you."
When asked about her father by the reporters who had been waiting for her outside her home a few days prior, Afra had replied, "I do not have to answer that."
"Waiting in front of my house is not journalism," she said, to which one of them replied, "I agree with you, and this is an immoral step."
"You agree, so why are you waiting?" said Afra with a fierce expression. said Afra fiercely. "We can't even talk here; there's nothing to talk about outside."
"But you're getting into private questions; you don't have to answer this," she said, wishing the reporters a good day, in response to someone attempting to inform her that she traveled to America with her father.
However, Afra's friends celebrated her birthday outside of the celebration that followed the magazine's honoring of her, and it was noteworthy that she had changed her dress.
