Has Lebanese actor Adel Karam abandoned his wife and newborn baby? Some say it’s true, others disagree. But what we know as true for sure is that the actor and his wife Rita Hanna cannot agree on anything in their relationship.
The couple got hitched in early 2013, but continuous fighting between the two has led to the decision of getting divorced.
As for their one-and-a-half old baby, it’s rumored that Adel has abandoned his son, who has apparently been in hospital since his birth.
Close friends to the couple have said that Adel has stopped visiting his baby and is not paying his hospital bills either. My, oh, my! The disturbed father is said to have also moved out of his marital home.
But Adel denied all the accusations thrown at him. The actor spoke out on the talk show “Bikhsoos Hal Shi” (In Regards to that Matter), where he told everyone of his great love to his son, assuring people that he is paying for his medical bills as well.
The statement made by Adel infuriated Rita, who vowed to break her silence by taking on to Twitter and tweeting: “If you don’t stop with all those lies, I will tell it all. I’m only still quiet for the sake of our son Sharbil.” Well, there you have it! Things are clearly out in the open now.
Sharbil has since his birth undergone two open heart surgeries at the American University Hospital in Beirut and is currently held in the Intensive Care Unit. His condition is very critical, but is said to be gradually improving.
