Guess who’s back in Dubai after FIFTEEN years of absence? Yep, it’s the brilliant Abdul Majeed Abdullah!
Where has the Saudi superstar been hiding, or more specifically, why hasn’t he held a concert in this multicultural city for that long!
Well, if it makes things any better, Music label Rotana is reuniting Abdullah with his fans in Dubai through a grand performance set to take place this March.
According to Saydiaty.net, the hotly-anticipated concert will take place on March 27 at the Arena Hall in Jumeirah.
Unsurprisingly, tickets are almost sold-out to fans from all over the Arab world, who have raced to get a piece of the action.
The “Prince of Khaliji Music” said that he’s delighted to reunite with his fans after such a long absence from the scene. He promised them a night to remember, filled with his all-time best hits.
Rotana’s head, Salem al Hindi, said that they are placing great efforts as the concert organizers to make Abdullah’s comeback a phenomenal one.
A press conference will be held a day before the concert is due, which will be attended by Arab press from the whole region, who are keen on interviewing the singer and finding out more details about his comeback.
The press conference will mark Abdullah’s first since his last one in 2000 in Jeddah.
