Legendary Syrian star, Abbas al Nouri, will be teaming up with his younger counterpart, Basel Khayat, for new drama 'Al Maw'id' (The Date) this coming Ramadan.
The hotly tipped series is set to tackle some controversial issues as heavyweight acting and heartthrob good looks join forces. Abbas and Basel will be starting the shoot later this month to get filming done in time for the all important holy month.
According to MBC.net, Abbas is remaining coy about his role in the drama, refusing to confirm for sure that he will be starring. The site reported that the much-loved actor was very interested in both the part and the plot but wasn't yet ready to set his cards out on the table.
