While some celebs are taking Ramadan off to enjoy it with their family and friends - and watch the dramas they're starring in this season - Syrian actor Abbas al Nouri has chosen to work instead!
Abbas is filming scenes for his new TV drama "Shahar Zaman" (One Month) with Syrian director Zuhair Qanoo.
The drama follows one month in the lives of old and young characters living in Damascus, and their struggle to stay alive amidst the controversy and violence taking place in their city, reports Sayidaty.net.
The emotional script was written and directed by Zuhair Qanoo' and produced by the Television and Radio Production Institute and Qabind Arts Production.
The drama stars Abbas, Dima Kandalaft, Maysoun Abu Asaad, Saed Mina, Wael Ramadan, Madiha Kanifati, Toleen Al Bikri, Khaled Al Qayes and Alaa Al Qassem.
