Amr Diab’s attempt at dispelling rumours of his upcoming marriage have backfired.
The story goes like this: Diab, an immensely popular singer in the Arab world, has recently been featured in several photographs, published by fellow stars and Arab producers, featuring him and Dina el-Sherbiny.
Diab himself published a photo of el-Sherbiny on Twitter with several colleagues, dubbing it, “The work crew” in what has been construed as an attempt to dispel rumours.
To put it mildly, it didn’t take, and fans have been congratulating Diab and his “work crew” for awful euphemisms since.
