Egypt is going gaga over Mohammed Assaf, which is no surprise since all the Arab World pretty much has the hots for the Palestinian pretty boy. Assaf jetset over to the North African country to promote his album this week where he was welcomed with open arms.
4Fann.com even gave the Arab Idol winner another award to add to his collection in appreciation for his musical genius, especially for so young a performer. The online magazine handed over the crystal plaque at a ceremony on Tuesday, May 12th.
Assaf thanked his supportive Egyptian fans and 4Fann.com for the honoring event. He promised the country a special song dedicated to them and in their dialect as a token of his gratefulness.
The 25-year-old songster no doubt initially stole their hearts by including three songs in the Egyptian accent in his first album "ASSAF".
We are eager to see if his acting skills match his music abilities in his upcoming project Janna Wa Nar" (Heaven and Hell) with epic artist Nour El Sherif in Ramadan 2016. The Palestinian production directed by Tareq Khalaf is based on a novel by Palestinian writer and novelist Yahya Yakhlif.
