Action star Arnold Schwarzenegger was in hospital Monday after he was injured in a motorcycle crash in Los Angeles, his publicist said.
Schwarzenegger, the 54-year-old star of films such as Terminator and True Lies suffered "minor injuries, including several fractured ribs," said Jill Eisenstadt.
"Schwarzenegger, an experienced rider, is resting conformably and will be released later today (Monday)," she said. She provided no further details of the accident, which happened in the fashionable Santa Monica area.
But, in the words of his “Terminator” character, the Austrian-born star and former bodybuilder was insistent that he would be back, despite the crash.
"Don't worry, this will not affect my skiing at Sun Valley (in the northwestern state of Idaho) with my family over Christmas," he quipped from his hospital bed, according to Eisenstadt -- AFP
