The Middle East's sweetheart of primetime television, Turkish actress Meryem Uzerli became known throughout the Arab world for her role as the Sultan's wife in the drama series Harem al-Sultan.
This week the star known for her role as "Huyam" was seen dancing at a Moroccan wedding in a video that was widely shared online, according to Al Arabiya.
She was attending the wedding of fellow Turkish star Murat Yildirim, which caused some controversy in Turkey as Turks attacked him online for having a ceremony that was "too Moroccan."
Yildirim and his bride Iman al-Bani both opted to wear traditional Moroccan wedding outfits.
Uzerli was filmed attempting to dance to Moroccan folk music, apparently having a good time.
