ENOC hosts three educational sessions as part of annual Ramadan Lectures this year

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) is hosting its annual ‘Ramadan Lectures’ series with three weekly educational sessions this year, to be held every Monday, starting August 8, 2011. The lectures will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm at the fifth floor auditorium of ENOC House in Dubai.

The Ramadan Lectures, part of ENOC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the workplace, aim to strengthen awareness on the values associated with the Holy Month of Ramadan and strengthen the spirit of solidarity among ENOC employees.

Saif Al Falasi, Executive Director of Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality, and Corporate Affairs, said: “The Ramadan Lectures are a key part of ENOC’s corporate social responsibility to our employees. The event features religious experts who will provide strong insights on the values associated with the Holy Month of Ramadan. Through the lectures, we aim to enable our employees to gain a stronger understanding of Islamic principles of living.”

The first session, held on Aug. 8, is on ‘Encouraging Good Doing’ led by Dr Ahmed Abdulaziz Alhaddad. The subsequent sessions include: ‘Fasting and Family’ by Dr Mohammed Ayadah on Aug. 15 and ‘The Blessings of the Last 10 Days of Ramadan’ by Ismail Abdul Fatah on Aug. 22.

The sessions will be interactive and participants can clarify their doubts with the experts. The lectures will give a comprehensive overview of various social and family aspects that are especially relevant during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
