ENOC hosts Olympics for employees

More than 200 staff members of ENOC took part in the ENOC Olympics, an organization-wide employee engagement initiative. The participants were awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their achievements in cricket, badminton, golf, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, bowling and football at the closing ceremony held in Dubai.
An initiative by the ENOC Wellness and the Social Programme Committee, the biggest of its kind annual sports event by ENOC brought together employees from across ENOC divisions and subsidiaries, who participated in a total of 8 games over the course of 5 weeks.
Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Chief Executive Officer, said: “In today’s fast-paced global economy, intense competition, stress and dependence on technology are driving employees to burn out quicker than before. At ENOC, we place employees at the heart of the business and we are committed to ensuring that they enjoy the highest quality of life. Employee welfare is also part of our corporate social responsibility, and we take this aspect seriously. ENOC Olympics is one of the key corporate social responsibility initiatives driven by the ENOC Wellness and Social Programme Committee. It is aimed at promoting the health and well-being of employees, and also to strengthen solidarity through community networking in an informal and fun-based environment.
