Emirates returns to Lebanon to recruit staff

After the success of last year’s recruitment in Lebanon, Emirates Airline & Group will again participate in the 2011 Forward Recruitment Forum in Beirut from 27-30 April 2011.

Emirates will have a dedicated stand at the event and hopes to attract new recruits for Cabin Crew positions as well as various customer service entry level roles; such as travel centres, call/contact centres, airport and passenger service positions.

“Each week Emirates receives thousands of applications from people across the world looking to join our expanding, dynamic organisation,” said Rick Helliwell, Vice President Human Resources – Recruitment, Emirates Airline & Group. “Participating in recruitment fairs, such as this event in Beirut, allows us to create greater awareness of the diverse and rewarding careers on offer to those seeking an international experience in a large multi-cultural organisation.”

“We currently have over 850 Lebanese staff working within Emirates in various roles in operations, engineering, IT, and an array of commercial and corporate services careers; across all levels ranging from senior management to entry level positions. Their contribution to the organization is what drives Emirates to continue to recruit in Lebanon, added Helliwell.”

Emirates has strong ties with Lebanon serving the market since 1991, offering 17 flights per week to Beirut. “Our participation in the Beirut Career Fair is yet another example of our commitment to Lebanon as a destination," noted Tamador Kouatly, Emirates Manager Lebanon."
