ALBAWABA The recent opening of a restaurant in Jordan named "October 7" has ignited controversy and outrage among leaders in Tel Aviv. The Israeli Occupation Opposition Leader, Yair Lapid, strongly condemned what he referred to as the "disgraceful glorification of October 7."
Lapid added, through X platform, saying: "The disgraceful glorification of October 7th has to stop. The incitement and hatred against Israel breeds the terrorism and extremism which led to the brutal massacre of October 7th.We expect the Jordanian government to condemn this publicly and unequivocaly."
Video circulating on social media have shown restaurant workers donning uniforms with the conspicuous inscription "October 7."
The choice of this name is reportedly in support of the Palestinian cause and solidarity with the people in the Gaza Strip.
The restaurant named "7 October" was opened in the governorate of Karak, southern Jordan.
