Olivia Jackson, 24, from London, launched blog of outfits her boyfriend hates.

A woman has racked up thousands of Instagram fans by posting snaps of outfits her boyfriend hates - and makes her followers chuckle with his sarcastic remarks.

Olivia Jackson, 24, from London, set up a blog to showcase the outfits she loves wearing that leave her partner unimpressed.

She started the 'Clothes my boyfriend hates' blog last March and shares photos on her Instagram profile - with the same name - where she's gained over 14,000 followers.

Olivia said her anonymous boyfriend has always loathed jumpsuits, as well as hating anything with tie-dye, tassels or velvet, and often posts his comments alongside her outfit pictures.

His comments include comparing dresses to tea towels, hospital gowns and 'technicolour dreamcoats'.

Olivia - who works in marketing - was inspired to set up the blog because of the eye rolls and sarcastic remarks her boyfriend makes about all her outfits.

She hasn't named her partner, but said they have been together for six years since meeting at school.

And he regularly makes clear his dislike of any clothes with velvet, tassels or bright colours.

She said: 'My friends thought it was hilarious, so I wanted to start posting them and sharing them.'

'The blog grew out of that.'

Her blog posts include 'Turning a dress my boyfriend hates into one he hates even more' and 'The fascinators my boyfriend definitely hates'.

All of Olivia's pieces can be found on the high street, and she encourages her readers to re-wear outfits and share wardrobes with their friends.

She says her blog is loved by other young women who also have similarly sarcastic boyfriends, friends, family and colleagues.

'I get really funny messages from people with the comments that their partners have made,' she said.

Olivia says sometimes her blog is misinterpreted and she receives messages from fans saying that she should get out of the relationship if her boyfriend is manipulative.

She said: 'I think sometimes the British sense of humour and sarcasm isn't understood, but it's not like that at all.

'The blog is just part of our sense of humour.'

Most of her audience is women in their 20s and 30s living in the capital, and she said she doesn't run her blog for money.

She went on: 'I'd never rule anything out, and I'd love to spend more time on my blog. But I don't have any plans at the moment to make it a full time career.

'And I'll have to have a re-think if he starts liking my clothes.'
