This is the moment a brave bus driver went to the rescue of an elderly woman when a mugger tried to snatch her bag.
Károly Zsolt Kis was driving by Újgyőr market in Miskolc, Hungary, when he spotted the woman with a walking stick trying to fend off the attacker.
Footage recorded by the bus surveillance cameras shows the driver stopping the bus and leaping out of his cab.
Károly, who had served in Iraq, then runs over and pushes the man off the victim.
The bus driver, who has served in Iraq, stands between the mugger and the victim until he runs away.
He looks through the trees on the side of the road to check the mugger is gone.
The elderly lady then boards the bus and it continues on its route.
Police have identified and arrested a 27-year-old man suspect after the incident shortly before 9.30am on June 5.
She was not injured but she was shaken up by the incident, according to local reports.
