Jimmy Carter is the first US President to turn 100

ALBAWABA - The 39th President of the United States Jimmy Carter went viral across social media after turning 100 years old, making him the first former president in America's history to make it to that age. 

Users on X (formerly known as Twitter) took to the platform to celebrate Carter's birthday and wish him all the best. The individual in question was the US president from 1977 to 1981 and received awards including the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, the United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights in 1998, and many more.

The former president also has his own verified fan page on Musk's X which is dedicated to a countdown of him turning 100 which is named, "How Many Days Until Jimmy Carter Turns 100?" 

It said in a post, "It's midnight in Georgia...the moment we've been waiting for! Jimmy Carter is now officially 100 years old! Happy Birthday Mr. President!"

Other awards he received included, several Grammy Awards for Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording, several US military medals, and the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism which is given to people who made exemplary contributions to humanity and the environment."
