ALBAWABA The Egyptian authorities have officially declared the demise of a young man who fell into a well located in the province of Minya, situated in the southern region of the country.

Reports indicate that the individual had been stuck inside the well for over 48 hours before succumbing to the incident.

According to statements released by provincial authorities, they received a report on Tuesday afternoon detailing the fall of Taha Hassan, a 30-year-old individual, into a well with an estimated depth of approximately 25 meters.

Remarkably, this occurrence draws parallels to the tragic fate of Rayan, a child who lost his life in a similar well-related incident in Moroccan territory last year.

In this instance, the victim was identified as an Egyptian farmer who accidentally fell into a groundwater well, which is reported to be 23 meters deep. The incident unfolded in the Sahrawi area, located west of the Minya center.
